AtSignOn provides a high level of security to protected databases. When installed it protects the specified databases, not the users. However it is possible to set up your environment so that you can allow two types of users, to access the same database with different methods of authentication.

To do this you must create two login pages. The first login page is requires AtSignOn Authentication. The second login page requires Domino Authentication. Both login pages will redirect users to the desired database.

The database itself is not protected by AtSignOn but because all users must first pass through one of two login pages, it is secure.
